Where did November go?

Is it just me or did the month of November just fly by? I can't believe that Christmas and 2008 are just right around the corner! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and survived Black Friday shopping! We had a great time spending Thanksgiving on Oahu with my mother-in-law's side of the family. I will post again soon with pictures of a great weekend!

Welcome!

I have never been a big "blogger" type of person, but lately it seems like everyone we know is starting these. I figure its a great way to keep in touch with far away family and keep everyone posted on the latest happenings. Technology is great.=) So here we are, the Wes Taba family...the latest bloggers from Kalaheo. We've all been doing great. Wes and I are enjoying life with all of its ups and downs and are especially having a great time being parents to Kaytin. Speaking of Kaytin, she's now 2 1/2 years old and definitely in the midst of the "terrible two's." Oddly enough we've found that she's only "terrible" with the two of us. haha. She stays with her Grandma & Papa Taba in the mornings when I go to work and they always tell me that she never gives them a hard time, they only hear her crying and see her acting up when Wes and I are home. hmmm....what's wrong with that picture? Really, though, we can't complain...she's a fun little girl and I'm slowly getting used to the fact that she's not a baby anymore. sad.
As you can see from our picture, we just had a great Halloween! Went with the "UH football" theme this year with Kaytin as our little cheerleader, Wes as Vili the Warrior, and myself the referee. For those of you who don't know, the Taba's are HUGE University of Hawaii football fans. (Ever heard of our "Lodge" where the games are watched??) You can google images of Vili the Warrior and see why Wes walked away with the best adult costume prize that night! =)
Anyway, here's hoping you all had a fun & safe Halloween and are busily preparing yourselves for the holidays ahead!
