Fatty in the House

Caleb went in for his two week check up with his pediatrician today. OK, so here's the rundown, he was 6lbs. 13oz. when he was born. Most babies lose a percentage of their body weight before you take them home, right? Well, I'm not too sure exactly how much he weighed when we left the hospital on Sunday, but by Monday (remember he was born on a Thursday) he was back up to 6lbs. 13oz. Lovely weight gain. We had to take him back to see the doctor that Saturday (just 5 days later) and he was already 7lbs. 6oz. Okay...guess how much he weighed today? (again, 5 days later) 8lbs. 4oz.!!! Let's just say he's gaining weight at great rate. His doc was teasing me after Kaytin was born (and she gained just as quickly) saying that it wasn't breast milk that I was producing, it was breast cream! hahaha...apparently its true. Its definitely obvious in Caleb's features...he is starting to fill out all those little skin folds. Very cute. =) Pictures will be up soon, I promise.
