SUCCESS!!

I have been putting off blogging about this until I knew it wasn't just a fluke, but we are proud to announce that little miss Kaytin has FINALLY decided that it was high time all her poop went in the pooper. Hallelujah! You don't know how much I have prayed for this day to arrive (or maybe you do since I know I've written about it a time or two in here). She's been good on the shi-shi aspect of it all for awhile now, but number two has eluded her...or eluded just her parents. ;) We think this all ties in to her getting a new "big girl" bed because one day she just up and decided that she was ready to go on the toilet. (color me stupid...all it took was a bed?!) And since then she has been virtually accident free for close to two weeks now! Oh happy happy day...I can now register her for preschool with a free conscience. Hooray! Yipee! Yay! Yahoo! (yes, I am SO excited) Now off to the pet store to get her that fish in a fishbowl we promised to get her when she was fully potty trained. (we made that promise over a year ago) :)

My son's been going on "poop" in the toilet for a while now, but every so often, you'll find him hiding in a corner and you just know what he's doing. Grrrr. But he's doing very well overall. My question is: How long until he just goes in there on his own. We're still reminding him every 60-90 minutes.
As for the fish, be careful. We got a fish, and then when I wanted him to die, he just kept on living. (I guess that's what happens when you keep feeding it.) Argh. Anyways, now that my son finally took an interest in it, it went belly up the very next day. Go figure.
